A save your hands practical course combines the nature of light to deep tissue work using elbows, forearms, and hands. Demonstration by the instructor and a practical exchange among the participants will be integrated. Open communication during this session is crucial to making sure you do not get too uncomfortable. This course is designed to focus on the use of using one’s body mechanics and increase self-awareness to leverage the pressure. Participants will learn thorough methodical movements at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, called connective tissue. The participants will learn to increase their body mechanics and understand the benefits of light to deep thorough pressure by saving their hands. Participants will leave confident in the use of their elbows, forearms, and targeted range of motion.
• Students will identify the effects of repetitive use of their hands and poor body mechanics • Students will list the contraindications of a Deep Tissue Massage • Students will participate in proper body mechanics and demonstrate the use of their forearms, elbows and hands in a deep tissue massage • Students will demonstrate how to leverage their pressure in a deep tissue massage • Students will list thorough methodical movements at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia • Students will identify targeted range of motions with deep tissue techniques
Live Distant Webinar & Synchronous with our Live In House Class: Participants must log in at the scheduled class time, attend the entire course, and actively participate throughout the training to be eligible for continuing education (CE) credit. This is a live, instructor-led course and is not self-paced.
Continuing Education Notice: Continuing education requirements vary by state licensing board. While many states recognize live instructor-led webinar courses for CE credit, some states have different requirements regarding what qualifies as "live" continuing education. It is the participant's responsibility to verify acceptance of this course with their state licensing board before registering.

For outstanding balances, Invoices will be sent one month prior to the class start date and are due within 7 days of the invoice date. Full payment must be received to secure your seat, as incomplete payment may result in forfeiture of your spot.
Refund and Cancelation Policies for Classes For deposits for massage continued education classes registered through Kashmir Hands and Dina Giugliano - A $75.00 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot in a class. You will receive an invoice for your balance due approximately one month prior to class start date. Your payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date. Incomplete payment past this date will risk forfeiture of your spot in class.
For classes registered through other schools/sites - Registration and payment are subject to the policies of that school, site, or instructor and must be negotiated/discussed with the instructor. This includes any "early bird" registration fees. For extenuating and emergency circumstances such as personal illness, family emergencies (illness, death, etc.), inclement weather conditions that occur within two weeks prior to the start of class, refunds need to be discussed directly with the instructor. This must be communicated with your instructor directly and submitted in writing.
