If you are in the beginning stages of a yoga practice, private instruction can enhance and solidify the poses and techniques in a safe, personalized environment that will help you get the most out of group classes.
There comes a time when you want to go deeper into your practice and work on challenging sequences and poses. A private session can help you develop the next level of your practice that can be difficult to work on in a group class. I will develop and inspire the beautiful practice you already have.
The Busy Yogi:
For those of you who can’t seem to find a class time that works with your hectic schedules private yoga is a welcome change! Choosing a time that works for you and having a private class in will allow you to relax and get the most out of your practice.
Therapeutic Yoga Sessions:
For those working with an injury or facing a health condition, therapeutic yoga sessions can help you do yoga safely and promote self-healing. Therapeutic yoga sessions can also help you manage health conditions and possibly reduce symptoms. From basic back care to stress reduction, I create a program based on your needs.
Prenatal / Postnatal Practice:
Inside you is an intuitive wisdom that understands the very natural process of birth. This practice is specifically designed to prepare the body and mind of mothers-to-be. Highly recommended by midwives, yoga keeps the body supple without straining, boosts energy, relieves stress and anxiety, and promotes restful sleep. Synchronizing these postures with your breath leads you to new awareness with your mind-body-soul & also the soul of your baby. This practice also offers women a place to relax, share experiences, bringing about a sense of centeredness.
Mindfulness and Guided Meditation Practice:
You will be listening to a brief guided visualization/meditation to still the mind and body to release any stress of the day. In this relaxed state, you will receive calmness with soft music playing in the background. This meditation is a spiritual massage that helps the mind, emotions and muscles to relax. As the body and emotions relax, the body can return to its own harmonious resonance allowing health and happiness to awake.
